Artistic Leader SonicFestive / conductor
The danish conductor Martin Akerwall has been awarded with several nordic prizes and has regularly worked with symphony orchestras in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, USA, France, Singapore, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Martin Akerwall began his career at German opera houses as Principal Conductor before he held conducting positions at Bern State Opera in Switzerland, The Royal Danish Theater and The Finnish Opera.
In recent years, Akerwall has also becomed a sought-after coach for conductors. He has given masterclasses in USA, Finland, Latvia, Bulgaria, and Denmark. Since 2018 he has been given international masterclasses in Belgrad Serbia.
Chamber Orchestra
The Camerata Belgrade (CB) is a Belgrade-based high-level chamber orchestra founded in 2018 with Martin Akerwall as principal conductor. The orchestra has performed at several of the OCA concerts in Belgrade. The orchestra counts 30 musicians and consists of leading musicians from Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Serbian Radio Symphony orchestra, National Opera Orchestra and the elite of young musicians in Belgrade.

Recorder and Guitar
The Danish musical collaboration of Petri and Hannibal commenced with their inaugural performance in the fall of 1991. Since then, they have showcased their talents across various continents, including Europe, North America, Mexico, the Middle East, Japan, China, and Korea. Renowned as one of Denmark's premier music ensembles, the duo has delivered close to 2,000 concerts featuring a diverse repertoire. Their performances range from the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods to classical and romantic eras, as well as contemporary compositions tailored specifically for the duo's unique sound.
Piano
Rikke Sandberg, a prominent figure in the Danish music scene, has established her reputation after completing her studies in New York and Copenhagen. In 2002, she showcased her talents by debuting from the Royal Danish Academy of Music’s Soloist Class. Widely recognized for her exceptional expressiveness and unique style as a pianist, Sandberg's deep connection and dedication to the music are evident in every performance. Her remarkable skills and limitless talent enable her to master a diverse repertoire that spans from early baroque pieces to contemporary compositions, making her a truly versatile artist.
The inception of the Belgrade Philharmonic String Quartet dates back to 2011 within the orchestra. Comprising Misha Andrushchenko (first violin), Jelena Dragnić (second violin), Boris Brezovac (viola), and Aleksandar Latković (cello), the ensemble has carved a remarkable path for itself.
Noteworthy highlights in the Quartet’s journey include stellar performances at prestigious events like the Silver Lyra Festival in St. Petersburg, Musikfesttage an der Oder in Poland and Germany, the Abu Dhabi Classics Festival, and the Chamber Music season opening in the Liwa Oasis, UAE.
Additionally, the Quartet has showcased its talent on international stages, including successful concert tours in China, captivating performances at esteemed venues like the Tianjin Concert Hall, the Centre Culturel de Serbie in Paris, and the Cultural Centre in Izmir, Turkey.
Horn
Igor Lazić, principal horn of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, has an extensive international career performing as a soloist with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles. His collaborations include the Brass Ensemble of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Belgrade Horn Quartet, Trossingen Brassquintet, Pulank Blaeserquintet, Isang Yun Ensemble for contemporary music, and Altemusik Ensemble specializing in early music.
His musical contributions have resonated both within Serbia and on the global stage, showcasing his versatility and talent across various genres and ensembles.
Cello
Tobias van der Pals, a renowned cellist from Scandinavia, has built a successful international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist. In 2007, he earned a prestigious soloist degree, DipRAM, for his exceptional performances at the Royal Academy of Music in London. The following year, he emerged victorious in the annual cello competition at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and made his debut from the Soloist Class of the same institution in 2009. Widely praised by the global media, Tobias van der Pals has released multiple albums showcasing his talents both as a solo performer and collaborator in chamber music.
